Groundswell 2019

Last year we had the privilege of creating the video for Groundswell Surf & Skate Festival hosted by Scarborough Beach Association & a bunch of other incredible sponsors, this year they got us back to film & photograph the event over two days. This years event had so much more on offer & the crowd was huge! activities included surfing, skateboarding, BMX, graffiti walls, basketball comps, food trucks, DJ’s & also lots of activities for kids like kite making workshops for example. There was so much to capture that it made our job super easy! We’re really stoked with how the above edit came out.

Surfing WA & Basketball WA provided us with some of their own footage which we worked into the final edit. In this two mintue video our brief was to highlight the energy of the event & all of the individual activities also. This event is one of Perth’s largest in its scene, having the new Scarborough foreshore to enjoy in this way is pretty special, excited to see it grow even more next year.
