Kennedy Baptist College • Short Film

Last year we created this short film for Kennedy Baptist College, it was a team effort in terms of the production with script writing by Sheryn Hack of Sheryn Films, produced by Angelique Gerber of Angelique Gerber films & filmed & edited by us here at Offshoot.

Everyone played such a huge role in bringing this film to fruition. It was a pleasure to see this film go from idea to final product over the course of a year. COVID-19 obviously set our plans back quite a few months delaying our initial shoot days. Once we got into the swing of things we filmed this over the course of 4 days spread out over a few weeks with full production wrapped before the end of the school year.

The film is a look at the heart behind Kennedy Baptist College from the perspective of two students as they navigate the different locations & subjects the school has to offer. We also produced two separate social media cuts of the full length film, each one minute on both of the two different interwoven stories. We’re super proud of how this one turned out & are so glad to finally be able to share it.
